Two °¼Í¹ÊÓƵ students to participate in United Nations conference in Azerbaijan
Two °¼Í¹ÊÓƵ students have been selected to serve as observers at the upcoming COP29 event in Baku, Azerbaijan.
°¼Í¹ÊÓƵ senior Breanna Ten Pas will give a voice and saxophone recital in Dordt's B.J. Haan Auditorium on Friday, November 15, at 7 p.m.
The community is invited to the voice and saxophone recital of °¼Í¹ÊÓƵ senior Breanna Ten Pas. The free recital will be held on Friday, November 15, at 7 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium. A public reception will follow.
The recital will feature selections for both voice and alto saxophone. A notable feature of the recital is all the collaboration with other performers. Ten Pas will be performing a vocal/clarinet piece with her sister, Trista, and a vocal duet with senior Julia Visser, as well as a saxophone duet with senior Sierra Meyer. The recital will conclude with a lively saxophone piece with organ accompaniment by Dr. Carrie Groenewold. Other performers include accompanists Emma Philips and Julia Veldman.
Ten Pas, of Hull, Iowa, is majoring in K-12 Choral/Instrumental Music Education. She is currently studying saxophone with Mrs. Pam De Haan and voice with Mrs. Deb Vogel.
This recital is presented by Dordt's Music Department.
