Dave Rozenboom ('85) has been named the 2024 Distinguished Alumni Award recipient at Ƶ.
Rozenboom is the president of , a $3.3 billion, full-service community bank with 14 locations throughout eastern South Dakota.
“At this stage of my career, I particularly enjoy mentoring the next generation of leaders within our organization. In addition, all of us at PREMIER enjoy the opportunity to work for an organization and an owner that has had a transformational impact in our community, state, and beyond in healthcare, education, and in the lives of so many people,” he says. “It is an honor and privilege to be able to contribute to those efforts.”

Ƶ is a special place for Rozenboom and his family. “While the Distinguished Alumni Award certainly came as a surprise, it is also very meaningful given how much my wife and I value and appreciate the role Ƶhas played in our life together and in the lives of our extended family.”
Rozenboom met his wife, Tammy, at Dordt; they have been married for 40 years. “Together, we have developed many lifelong relationships with fellow Christian friends and couples we met through Dordt.”
Having graduated from Ƶwith a degree in business administration in 1985, Rozenboom says his Ƶeducation continues to impact him to this day.
“Ƶprovided me with a foundational Reformed world-and-life view that has guided me to use the gifts that God has given me to glorify Him and fulfill what He has called me to do – in my role as husband, father, and grandfather; my role at the bank; and in my roles at First Christian Reformed Church and in the lives of others throughout our community.”
The Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes alumni who have distinguished themselves in an extraordinary fashion, who give evidence of living out a Reformational worldview, and who demonstrate exemplary service to the community and the world.
