͹ƵInstrumental Ensembles hold final concert of the semester

The ͹ƵInstrumental Ensembles will hold their final concert of the semester on Saturday, December 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium.

This concert will feature the music of Mozart, Kalinikov, Ticheli, and more. The ͹Ƶ Wind Symphony will bring the sounds of jazz to the auditorium with Frank Ticheli’s “Blue Shades,” featuring a Benny Goodman-type solo performed by freshman clarinetist Courtney Joiner. The Wind Symphony will also welcome the Canons of ͹Ƶas they feature the male vocal ensemble in Clifton Williams's “The Ramparts.” In addition, the Chamber Orchestra will perform Mozart’s very recognizable "Symphony No. 40," alongside the Campus-Community Band bringing the sounds of the Christmas season to their portion of the performance.

We also will invite all attendees to join us in a Christmas Sing-A-Long to close our concert and to wish everyone a wonderful Christmas season!
