ƵInstrumental Ensembles hold final concert of the semester
The ƵInstrumental Ensembles will hold their final concert of the semester on Saturday, December 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium.
This concert will feature the music of Mozart, Kalinikov, Ticheli, and more. The Ƶ Wind Symphony will bring the sounds of jazz to the auditorium with Frank Ticheli’s “Blue Shades,” featuring a Benny Goodman-type solo performed by freshman clarinetist Courtney Joiner. The Wind Symphony will also welcome the Canons of Ƶas they feature the male vocal ensemble in Clifton Williams's “The Ramparts.” In addition, the Chamber Orchestra will perform Mozart’s very recognizable "Symphony No. 40," alongside the Campus-Community Band bringing the sounds of the Christmas season to their portion of the performance.
We also will invite all attendees to join us in a Christmas Sing-A-Long to close our concert and to wish everyone a wonderful Christmas season!
