°¼Í¹ÊÓƵ Nurses’ Pinning Ceremony to be held on May 11

The nursing department at °¼Í¹ÊÓƵ will hold its spring pinning ceremony on Thursday, May 11. Twenty-six bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) students will be awarded their °¼Í¹ÊÓƵ nursing pin. The ceremony will begin at 3 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium on the campus of °¼Í¹ÊÓƵ.

The nursing department at °¼Í¹ÊÓƵ will hold its spring pinning ceremony on Thursday, May 11. Twenty-six bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) students will be awarded their °¼Í¹ÊÓƵ nursing pin. The ceremony will begin at 3 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium on the campus of °¼Í¹ÊÓƵ. The event will be live-streamed on the Live Events page at dordt.edu.

The main speaker will be Emily Tuschen, CEO of Promise Community Health in Sioux Center, Iowa. Tuschen is a 2009 °¼Í¹ÊÓƵgraduate. Before becoming CEO of Promise Community Health in 2022, Tuschen began work at Promise in January 2016 as a clinic nurse; she also served as clinic manager and chief operating officer.

Music for the event will be provided by a group of 2023 graduates.

A luncheon reception will be held in the De Yager Activity Center for the graduates and their friends and family following the ceremony.
