Meghan Jones brings agriculture communication expertise to ͹Ƶ

Meghan Jones joins ͹Ƶ as Instructor of Agriculture, bringing experience in agriculture education and communication in the dairy industry and a passion for mentoring students.

Meghan Jones has accepted a position at ͹Ƶ as Instructor of Agriculture.

Jones received a master’s degree in agriculture education from South Dakota State University and served as a graduate teaching assistant during her time there. She has a wealth of experience with agriculture education and communication in the dairy industry, and her family owns a dairy outside of Orange City.

Jones looks forward to teaching agriculture at a Christian university and having the opportunity to mentor her students.

“Teaching them not only how to excel in their field but also how to live out their faith in every aspect of their lives is what I am most excited about – helping them connect their calling with their purpose as a Christian,” says Jones.

Dr. Holly De Vries, Agriculture Department Chair, is grateful for the experience and leadership Meghan has in agriculture communication.

“͹Ƶhas recently approved an emphasis in Agriculture Communication, and I see her as taking a lead role in promoting and guiding that major,” says De Vries. “Meghan is a hard worker and visionary. Her faith is very evident, she has a heart for missions, and her positive can-do attitude will be a great addition to the ͹Ƶcommunity.”
