Memories that Last Forever

Although Braden arrived at ͹Ƶfeeling slightly overwhelmed and uncertain, he soon felt accepted and comfortable within his surroundings. He overcame the challenge of being alone in a new place, gaining friends and dealing with loneliness.

“͹Ƶis an excellent place to find and make friendships and memories that last forever,” he says. “School and learning is only one part of choosing a school. ͹Ƶfulfills all the things I was looking for: an excellent education, and lasting friendships and relationships.”

During his time at Dordt, Braden served as president of the Ag Club, participated in intramural sports, and went hiking in the Palisades. He competed in several agriculture competitions and conventions in dairy, crop, and livestock. After graduating, Braden began working in the field of agronomy.

Braden is grateful to ͹Ƶfor teaching him a new way of looking at the world. One of the concepts that stood out the most to Braden is how awesome God’s power is, especially when it comes to the complexities of science in genetics, how a plant grows, and how everything works perfectly together. He says that understanding these complexities strengthened his faith in God immensely.

“͹Ƶhas helped me by introducing me to new ways of thinking and challenging me to think critically about my thoughts and actions,” he adds. “This kind of teaching has already impacted my life and will continue to impact my future.”
