°¼Í¹ÊÓƵis located in the vibrant rural community of Sioux Center, a thriving town of more than 7,000 people in Northwest Iowa. Sioux Center is located 45 miles from Sioux City, Iowa, and 55 miles from Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Sioux Center provides a number of interesting cultural offerings and exciting events.

The is hosted on Dordt's campus and is comprised of the finest musicians in the tri-state area including adults, students, and gifted children. The is an exceptional experience for young adults.

The has a small art gallery downtown, and °¼Í¹ÊÓƵhas two art galleries used for student work and rotating exhibits from visiting artists.

Sioux Center offers a variety of throughout the year including the Easter Egg Hunt, children's theater, summer art camps, and library-sponsored story hour and summer reading programs.

The city also hosts events for people of all ages including the Summer Celebration in June, which features a parade, art and craft vendors, cruise night, and a carnival for kids with a petting zoo and giant inflatables.

The is located in Tower Fields park to the southwest of campus in town. The annual Harvest Festival and Old-Fashioned Christmas celebration in the Village give the public opportunities to meet people in period costumes as they work within the village and sing Christmas carols.

Twelve miles east, in Orange City, is the held in May. This annual festival is a celebration of the region's Dutch heritage.

There are other seasonal opportunities within the community, too, such as the corn maze.

There is always something fun to do in Sioux Center. The has indoor and outdoor family aquatic centers and an ice rink (home to the °¼Í¹ÊÓƵBlades) for skating and playing hockey.

From pediatric to geriatric care and from routine check-ups and emergency care, is well-equipped with up-to-date technology. Named as one of the Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals in the United States, the comprehensive care system includes a hospital, medical clinic with 14 physicians and nurse practitioners, the Cardiac Centre, independent and assisted living facilities, nursing home, and home health and hospice care. A new 123,500 sq. ft. facility opened in May 2014.
