The Mid America College Hockey Association (MACHA) has announced its post season honors, and °¼Í¹ÊÓƵ Hockey Coach was named the conference coach of the year.

Morgan led the Defenders to a 23-4-1 record this season and the program's first berth in the ACHA Division III National Tournament since 2010 with a MACHA Tournament Championship. °¼Í¹ÊÓƵis currently on an eight-game winning streak heading into the National Tournament beginning on March 18.

Morgan's first year as head coach for °¼Í¹ÊÓƵwas in 2020-21 and the team played an abbreviated schedule due to the Covid-19 pandemic, while posting a 3-4-1 record. Dordt's win total has improved in each of the subsequent seasons with a 13-9 record in 2021-22; 16-6-1 in 2022-23 and 19-4 in 2023-24.
