
Ƶ to celebrate class of 2025 with two commencement ceremonies
Ƶ will celebrate its graduating students with undergraduate and graduate commencement ceremonies on May 9.
Ƶ's 4th Avenue Singers and 4th Avenue Band will present an evening of classic and contemporary jazz music on Saturday, April 26 at 7 p.m.
The community is invited to an evening of jazz featuring Ƶ’s 4th Avenue Singers and 4th Avenue Band in the B.J. Haan Auditorium on Saturday, April 26 at 7 p.m. The concert is free to attend and open to the public.
Music from the 4th Avenue Singers will include familiar classics such as “All of Me” and “Moon River,” as well as modern tunes such as “Fly Away Birdie” and “Green Lights.” Additionally, the Singers will perform a new jazz arrangement of the Beatles song, “I Will.”
The 4th Avenue Band will bring sounds of Glenn Miller and a standard from the rock genre, “Watermelon Man,” alongside other big band favorites like “88 Basie Street.”
