°¼Í¹ÊÓƵwomen's basketball wins GPAC tournament championship

For the second consecutive year, the °¼Í¹ÊÓƵ Defender women's basketball team claimed both the GPAC regular season and tournament championships, securing a 77-54 victory over Briar Cliff University in the title game in Sioux Center.

For the second year in a row the °¼Í¹ÊÓƵ Defender women's basketball team swept the GPAC regular season championship and the postseason tournament championship, getting a 77-54 win over Briar Cliff University in the title game in Sioux Center.

The Defenders used a strong defense to pull away from a 3-2 lead and scored 12 points in a row, capping the run with a basket for a 15-12 lead. added to the lead late in the quarter with her second three-point basket for a 23-6 advantage and settled for a 23-8 lead when the quarter ended.
